#1 Dad

My dad's gotta be the bestest dad!

He drove me down to one of my customer's place at Pipit Road to collect a cheque; cuz he said it's hard to find cabs there. Awwww.

See what i mean, when i mentioned that my dad's the benchmark for my future partner?

After that, we had hokkien mee at this coffeeshop, and we talked cock for a while before heading home.

I'm beat!
Need a break soon.

late nights

just hung up the phone with gerald, its 3am, and i still can't get to sleep. omg.

could be the 3 hours nap or the bloody coffee i had.

how can anyone say that they want a new girlfriend. Shouldn't romance and relationship be a spontaneous thing??? Men!

nick thinks i haven't been blogging. here i am, blogging in the wee hours, like an owl (albeit less wise)

good to know that all my girlfriends are back in singapore, except for nut.

Let see what i've bought last week

3 tops and 2 bottoms from G2000. After a superb 50% discount, it costs me only $120.
1 pair of Levi's. My very first cool Levi's. Only because it was on sale. ($69)
1 pair of Ipanema sandals ($23)
1 new bag for work ($30)
2 insurance plans- 1 endowment, 1 whole life policy ($180/month)

Uh huh.

Life couldn't get any better with some good retail therapy.

The End Is The Beginning Is The End

The last thing i would want for my day is to have some asshole buzzing around me, whining to me about how they got harassed by customers who bought things from them and shit like that. Hello, i do not have any sales so STFU can. Or tell me how he felt so bad for making a customer contribute 180/mth for a plan.

Thank you very much. But for today, i had enough, and i really need to let off steam.

I went coffee with D, and some other ppl. Fuck, its like chimney fest. Everyone was smoking. URGH. Gawd. I swear never to find a husband who smokes. And he better not smoke in front of me EVER!

So i was bloody tired and sleepy after spending a futile day at the damn branch. I didn't even have the energy to follow the guys down for their drinking session. Not that i really like drinking alot, but some sorta social company is good. Oh fuck, i should've just gone to walas today.

Yes yes, complain and whine. Urgh. I'm so bloody tired. I'm going down branch tmr, and i have to work on Sunday. What a life huh. It's no wonder i always spend most of my time la kopi with the guys and just breathing in second fucking hand smoke. Okay, at least G is nice enough to really stay away from me when he smokes. Point is. HE SMOKES!

Okay, at least i've made plans for the weekends night which is tmr in fact!. Right about enough to fill up my social life vacuum.

Deal or No Deal

Despite being low on sales this week, i'm still pretty happy.

I sold the warrents at a whopping $0.36, and made a neat sum of $1100 in a matter of 3 months. Considering capital input was only $1500! I am pretty happy.

yes, dabbling in stocks is way better than parking your money in the damn saving account. Wise words from yours truly, the banker. It really depends on each individual i suppose. For someone who's risk averse, they'll usually very happy earning those pittance through Fixed Deposit.

Everybody needs to be exposed to some sort of investment risks lah. No Pain, No Gain. Right?

I love everything the way things are now!

Happy fathers day ya'll.

An Ode to Daddy Dearest

My best friend, my father,
Always there and never falter.
Puts his children before any other,
Listening ear and corny joker.
Sets the benchmark for my future partner,
Knows my likes and disikes like no other.
Makes me laugh when i need to cry,
Starts silly conversation when the topic gets dry.
I'm glad I'm his daughter,
For he's my best friend, he's my father.

The irony of it all. I've started writing in my personal diary more than blogging for the whole wide world to see.
Hmm....I'm left with pretty little to say.

I met Hobs on Weds and we had lunch at Bedok. Ban Mian for us! She complained I don't have that many pictures on my blog. Do you think I carry a camera ard with me wherever I go?. Plus 7 days a week of work, how to take pictures!! Actually i think i do have some pictures of my colleagues, but nah, forget it.

So, recently, i think ive been choking up my phone bills. Or talk time rather, since ppl are always calling me. And there can never be a day my phone won't ring at least once in the morning, the noon and at night. Right. I think many of my brain cells would've died along with the phone battery during each phone conversation. I never had to charge my phone more than 2 times a week. But now, i charge it every 1-2 days. Makes me wonder why there's so much to talk about over the phone with ppl. Hehe.

I'm still indulging in late nights. I sleep at 1am earliest, wake up at 9am, go breakfast at945, reach work at 10ish. It's amazing how my circadian rhythm is adapting so well. 6 hours of sleep and i'm all recharged for the next day. No joke about that.

Wah, i super love guys who love their parents. They never fail to impress me. These are husband materials. I always believed if i had to marry a guy, i would marry someone who love his parents because i'm sure he will love me just as much, or maybe lesser by a bit. But strictly no mummy's boy, because i'll definitely be tortured so will he be sandwiched. HAH.

Bloody hell. i'm supposed to meet this kev for supper tonight, so that i can try out his swift sport. Then he tua me as usual!. pfft.

Let's waste time chasing cars

All that I am
All that I ever was
Is here in your perfect eyes
They're all I can see
I don't know where
Confused about how as well
I just know that these things
Will never change for us at all

I NEED A BREAK!

My life has come to a turning point, where i'm honestly deprieved of a deserving break!
I've worked 7 days this week, 6 days last week, and 7 days again for the last last weeks! omg.

I can't describe how tired i am, i don't dread work, but i'm just drained; if you know what i mean.

Everyday i wake up thinking about numbers, every night i sleep on numbers. Yes thats my life for you.

I've could hardly squeeze out time for ppl. It's taking a toll on my social life, my dating life, my family, and most importantly, my own life!!

Alas, i'm off tmr. I'm heading to michael's place for a swim, a tan. URGH! Then i might go catch a movie with whoever is free for me! :)

Yesterday, i went to Ikea, and i bought scented candles. They're really nice. They come in packs of 42 for a fabulous price of 4.95. What a steal huh. Candles are so sensual. I like candles. I also went to Giants and got myself a new bolster.

Hmm..i was told that i'm a very frugal person. Haha. Well, it really depends on one's definition of frugal. I think i spend within my limits, and i don't spend excessively? Hahhhhhh

Okay, shower time. The weather has been a bitch lately. H-U-M-I-D.
I wish i was in Sydney! =(

A myriad of feelings

I haven't felt like this in the longest time ever. Well, for a good 2 yrs i suppose?

I'm confused, anxious, worried, elated, apprehensive, all at the same time.

No prizes for guessing when's the only time you'll get a myriad of feelings all rolled into one.

HELP ME!

Today, i stayed home and watched Mindhunter on my laptop. Brilliant plot with many twists. One of the best thriller's i've seen. I also managed to finish half of One More Day before taking an afternoon snooze.

My life is pretty much boring. 90% of my week will be spent on work, so that leaves me with this much social life. And instead of ending my weekends with a bang with some kickass social night life, i've decided to stay home, shy away from ppl like a hermit. I'm in need of some me-time to do things that i like, to reflect, and to laze my day away. Work has been pretty much hectic. Running from places to places, running for sales, paperwork, shitass meetings. Urgh. But i know it's all gonna be worth it. :)

Mitch Albom is arguably one of the most inspirational writers in my humble opinion.. It's truly amazing how his books never fail to tug one's heart strings. Everything he writes is so down to earth and real; something which i'm sure many people can relate to. The first book i read written by him was Tuesdays with Morrie, which made me cry. He has this way of making people realise how they should always cherish every single little things in life, or be contented with life. I'm sure he'll die a good man. Haha.

About life. Well, surely we're all guilty of taking things for granted. At times like these, i like to remind myself to really be grateful for every thing that's ard me. Things like your eye sight? Honestly, how many ppl wake up to a morning and say things like "thank god for giving me life today, and thank you for letting me see today". The day we will say this, is when we know we gonna die in our sleep, or lose our eye sight. I am not sounding morbid! I am just very bored.
