World's Most Chronic Neck Ache

I'm suffering from the World's Most Chronic Neck Ache ever. It simply wouldn't go away!
But as you know, i'm exaggerating a little. I still am suffering from a farking neckache nonetheless.
It's not like a neck brace would help. I've applied tonnes of analgesic, and the relief is only temporary. Tonight, i've succumbed to sticking a medicated plaster on my neck. This is last resort, only because i don't like my hair stuck to the plaster. Yes, i've heard of something called a hair tie, but baby hair can't be tied up. Don't think you're smart and i'm stupid.

I'm feeling very exasperated now.

Only because i hate it when ppl don't show me the respect i deserve. I am no big boss, but common courtesy like returning a phone call, or a text to apologise you can't return a call is fine. But a text that comes in at 2 farking am, when the phone convo ended at 1045pm is TOTALLY NOT OKAY.

He can treat his girlfriend like a doormat (oh pity her!), but don't think he can treat me like one. Because i am that fiery woman Shakespeares warned men about.
Today, i abhor him! I know abhor is too strong a word, but really, no word like 'abhor' can truly describe how i feel about him. Probably 'despise' could be another word.
Truthfully, i don't know what i see in him, friends told me i deserve better. My friends are always right and absolutely right. I defintely deserve better. However, like i always said, view from the top of the building is always the best. View inside the basement building? What view????? Love is indeed blind. How to learn to love with eyes opened? Easy, use your brains, forget the heart. for brains have optic nerves, heart doesnt.

Anyway, I can't decide where i should go for holiday. US? Turkey? Taiwan? Sydney? Japan?
I might just end up in stinking Sg. I really wanna spend my birthday abroad!! With strangers, with different ppl. I'm so sick of traditions.

Am suffering from some kinda weird ass insomnia, inadvertently caused by some crap ass gastrointestinal problem. Not because i ate too much, i probably ate the wrong stuff. Pfft.

How complete. A gastro problem to complement my neck ache.

Life couldn't get any better. (no really!)

I think life would definitely be better with one person less in my life. The irony of "the more the merrier" Merry my foot.

okay, enough of angst.

Goodnight one and all. I shall go finish up some reading.
I've got 2 plastic bags of books unread. Yay.

pps: Realised i've got quite a bit of blog fans. How pleasant! *beams*. Strangely, they don't even leave me comments. My guess is that they are shy. I think that is excusable. :)

Hello, How're You Doing?

I'm an extremist.

I do ridiculous things. Last Sunday, I went to the Zouk Flea Market, and bought a trucker cap, something I don't suppose I really need, but I bought it nonetheless. Whatever for? Beats me. It was cheap. Is that a good excuse?

I also went to the gym and spent a good 61 minutes on the treadmill, to a point where my body became so accustomed to it, my heartbeat went back to basal rate. I was running at 8.0 mph! It was a walk in the park. Literally a WALK!

Fastforward, I've bought a total of 7 books in 2 days. I've got a problem. My book shelf is filled. Fuck it.

I just ripped Howie Day's album entitled, Australia. Love it to bits (courtesy of Hobs). Sounds mellow and quite comforting. Probably one of the CDs i could hear over and over again.

I'll be going on a cruise this weekend. I figured it's a good time to take my mind off things (read: work and relationship woes). Been going through some kinda quarter life crisis again, where i feel like i'm standing in the crossroad, not know where to go, or what to do. I guess i'm still young, i could still try out different things in life. But I hate making wrong decisions. I'm quite a perfectionist, and i like my life to be simple, and happy. To me, that is perfection. I don't need an materialistic life for 'all that glitter is NOT gold'. heh.

I had the weirdest dream last night. I dreamt that i was scolded by some moron for flipping a page of i can't quite remember what. Gees. The random impulses sent out by the brain.

I'm feeling pretty messed up (again!)

"And in this world of loneliness
I see your face
Yet everyone around me
Thinks that I’m going crazy, maybe, maybe
I don't care what they say
I’m in love with you
They try to pull me away
But they don’t know the truth "

Saying " I Do"

What more happiness can a person ask for as he stands in front of his friends and relatives celebrating the biggest milestone in his life.

To me, i think marriage is the biggest event in one's life. It's the communion of 2 beings, sharing lives, sharing happiness, going through tough times together. In retrospect, i always thought MY graduation was quite a big hoohaa, but now that i've grown older, and have attended many wedding dinners, marriage takes the cake of being the Red Letter Day

The wedding dinner i attended yesterday was nothing but perfect. From the exquisite decor of grey table clothes and luminious vases with pink roses to the black napkins and champagne gold lightings, this gave the dnd banquet at shangri-la a run for their money. It was immaculate. Seriously. From the food to the videography and photography, i was really impressed. Damn it, they must've spent a huge amount of money. Hopefully it's all in the package, then i'll get the lobang from my colleague. That is if i don't remain on the shelf 5 yrs down the road.

The highlight of the night was my colleague playing the piano and seranading to his wife, as the emcees blindfolded her on the pretext of making her play a game. When she saw him on the piano, she cried. I think i'll bawl my eyes out too. So sweet. Makes me wonder if sweet and nice guys still exist. I almost forgot to add, romantic too.

I know of some ppl who are totally resistant to the idea of marriage, thinking that life would be just as good when they're alone on their own. But isn't it better to have someone spend the rest of you life with you, someone to share woes and happiness. I for one would love to get married someday, and i make sure my wedding is gonna be a spanking good one! So now, i'm gathering wedding ideas. Hopefully when i found THE ONE, i can use them all. (that is if i find one.)

Sometimes i feel like i may never find the one. So much for having so many ideals on my perfect wedding night. :(
