transience

I would like to believe that life comprises of a series of transience.

Remember back in kindergarten you hung out with your best friend playing with sand and plasticine almost every day. And back in college, i hung out alot with this ex-convent girl. We mugged together, bitched together, lunched together. We were pretty inseparable or sort.

Then it occurred to me today that i didn't know where in the world these ppl are. Strange.

Hence my belief in the title above.

Now that i've started work i realised i had gone through another series. When i started out training i was practically 24/7 with G. We messed it up along the way. I still don't know exactly what he's doing, although i'm pretty much curious most of the time. At this very point, the cat occupies quite a big portion in my working life. i forsee that his presence will diminish gradually starting from the day i throw in my letter.

I wonder who's next in line.

But hey, at the end of the day, i still have BFFs ala the partyofalifetime gang. They aren't transient. primary school, secondary school, jc, uni abroad, separate working life, we've been through all that. They're pretty much indispensible. Oh how i love them!

horrors of horrors

i don't look forward to work. Then again who does? You know sometimes you wake each morning feeling like you've got tasks to accomplish, and then you get a sense of achievement when you've completed your task. To me, i guess that can be considered some sort of job satisfaction, albeit not monetarily. I wish i had such drive with each morning. At 740am, my alarm beeps, i wake up, feeling like it's another day of work again. I reach work promptly at 9am, then i email and bitch to others telling them that it's 9am, and i already can't wait for the day to end.

what a life.

And in addition to the shitty feeling at work, i've been procrastinating my studies. which sucks. It's been 2 weeks since i told myself i would complete micro econs, but to date, i'm barely there.

i can't wait for dec to come. I feel like i've got so much to do. Then i stress over vacation plans, and other miscellaneous crap.

how boring can my life get.

the saving grace for today was probably nut's company and the burger i had at blooie's. It had bacon in it, and i absolutely loved it, though my friend nut is a very pro-halal person. Next time i will buy her a shredded pork sandwich which they happened to have on the menu, and tell her it's chicken.
