7 Deadly Sins

For the uninitiated, the 7 deadly sins are

  1. Lust
  2. Gluttony
  3. Greed
  4. Sloth
  5. Wrath
  6. Envy
  7. Pride

Well, Lust. Hm.......

I'm stuck in a bloody sticky situation at this moment. Sticky like muah chee, sticky like having a gum stuck at the sole of your shoes. Sigh.

Whattttttt should i do?

So what if his stand is clear cut. It's not even gonna help, cuz the bloody situation is indeed "knotty". (pun intended) Haha. That's pretty witty huh.

How do you get out of such a situtation when your heart and mind are battling with each other. As far as i'm concerned, i am actually a mind person. I feel with my mind more than my heart. I like to be politically correct and rational but you know, sometimes emotion can get outta control especially with the outburst of PEA.
And we all know hormonal rage is anything but within our control.

"For instance, infatuation. This is supposedly the first stage of falling in love, an unbearable attraction towards someone. This attraction causes a virtual explosion of nuerochemicals very similar to adrenalin. Assisted by Phenylethylamine (that speeds up the flow of information between cells), dopamine (that makes us glow and feel good), and norepinephrine (that stimulates the production of adrenalin), make our world go round, our eyes sparkle and our heart beat faster. Our entire existence then depends on the sight of the person who triggered these reactions to begin with, and as the addiction to the chemical grows stronger, our attraction becomes greater. At this stage we commit foolish mistakes which are the stuff puppy love stories are made of. Actually it is these three chemicals that combine to give us what we call infatuation. We feel we are energized, often floating on air…and the reason why people who are just falling in love can talk for hours on end… (the same person becomes boring at a later stage). "

How bloody true.

To be or not to be.

Note to self: Stop using your bloody mind! Follow your heart.
Note to self again: Think about the consequences!
Note to self again and again: Pls stop using your damn mind will you!

sigh

Mindfuck

Relationships.
They bring out the best and worst in a person.

Argh.

I'm at a lost.

Mind fuck. A new word i learnt from the cat. Haha.

ps: today's 20072007. How cool is that!
hmm..not very cool actually. Unless it's palidromic, Then that's really awesome

late nights, long talks

I'm back from prata land ala Simpang Bedok with the cat aka my colleague, felix.

I'm having problem sleeping early these days. I mean, take yesterday as an example. Sleeping at 430? And today, well..probably 345. Oh gawd. That's quite a topsy turvy biological clock for a person who is employed.

But life is great, i'm not complaining.

I think talks are therapeutic. Be it over the phone or over teh peng. Of course, the listeners are what make the difference. The wonders of communications. I'm a person who value and emphasises alot on communication. Imagine having a significant half who doesn't understand what you're talking about half the time, or don't get witty jokes. Oh gawd. Torture.

I was bored, and googled on a psychology concept called, Cognitive Dissonance. What it means in a nut shell is that what you do, and what you perceive, don't go hand in hand. Eg: You're against the slaughtering of animals, and yet you eat meat. It's probably one very common trait I find in humans. Strange how we rationalise things huh.

Tomorrow, I shall go to the dentist if i have the time. I realised that my time after working hours are packed for this week. Sadly. It's been a while since I went home straight after work, stayed home all the way through the night. At this rate i'm going, i'm definitely gonna be nagged. But hey, just recently, i was discussing with my dad about the idea of moving out say when i'm financially stable (which should be by the end of the year), and i got the green light from him. He thinks it's a good idea for me to be independent and stuff. Terrific. Let's hope i find a boyfriend by the end of this year too! Then life would be even better.

I always think that it's a good idea to co-habit with your partner before marriage. That way, you'll unravel all the quirky habits or idiosyncrasies of your partner. Can you imagine marrying a man, and from the day you move in with him, he drives you crazy because he doesnt say squeeze toothpaste from the middle, but the end, or he leaves clothes lying on the floor.
Well, that's something i can't bear to imagine.

With that, I shall try get some eye shut. Not that tired though, cuz i concussed on the floor, literally on the floor in my room after i came back from the 5km run.

Many thanks to the people who give me daily wake up calls. Such sweeties they are!

One Wild Night

May i present the one wild night the girls and myself had last night at St James Power Station.
It was a night of laughter, not very good alcohols, decent music, dance, eye candies and stratgies to get near eye candies. HAH!

There you have it. One very fun night of clubbing. I woke up at 12.30pm this morning, went to work at 2.30pm. Wow. It is my off day can!!! Nabei, and i wasted my offday on this fucked up bitchhhhhhh who tried to pull me into MLM? Over my dead body please!

I really like my job. Heheheh

Today's been such a bad day for me. The bitch i met, the cab driver who doesnt know where Jalan Besar Town Council is, my crazy mom screaming at me because i disrupted her aerobics sessions becuz i was late. SERIOUSLY!

I went for a jog earlier on, i'm feeling a bit better. I'm off for drinks with the cat now.. And i think i'm late!

where were you when i needed you!!!!! Urgh

Bye!

I don't know when what why how.

i get this really strange feeling that i can't quite describe each time you move closer to me.

and yes, i enjoy the late night talks, morning calls and the company alot

as much as i'm contented with the way things are, i'm afterall a down-to-earth person who likes to think long term.

i need a freaking answer, or at least a bloody clue!

i think i've subconsciously fallen for someone! oh nooooooooooo!
eeks.

i am back

I'm at a loss for words.

Sometimes it's so hard to be candid on a blog, knowing that there are 101 people all over the world reading it. And Singapore being Singapore, a tiny little red dot on the map, you never know who might be stalking your blog. [yes people, i know who you are!]

Things were what they were as before. No further developments whatsoever. Probably the only thing that I've developed is a pretty much eratic sleeping habits. Naps would start at 7pm, last for probaby 1-2 hours. Then dinner would start at about 9pm. And I'l watch tv, surf the net till about 12ish, only the phone for another 1-2hours or so. Bed time is never before 1am. There was this night i started talking on the phone from 2am all the way till 5am. Holy molly.

Thank god for the excellent working hours. At least i was able to wake up at 10am and reach the place by 11am. Phew. Thank god for the coffeebreaks too. I remember there was this particular day, oh i think it was the day where i had only 4 hours of sleep. I was so bloody lethargic that felix and i decided to just waste our afternoon away at a coffee joint. How cool is that. heh

Yawn.

ps: dates are really exciting!!!!!!
