Sail Away

I haven't had autenthic indian food for a really long time
Tonight, i had one of the nicest indian food ever. I went for a housewarming gathering at one of the doctor's place. It was nice. I think there's this thing about indians and hospitality. They like to feed you with food, and they're so so hospitable.
Before you could even finish your tandoori chicken, they put more chapati and dahl on your plate.
Indian cuisine never fails to amaze me. From food like sago papadums to some steamed sorta leaves, to mashed potatoes with lentils. It is so unique, and not your typical singaporean indian food such as prata or indian rojak. Gees.

Anyway, on a happier note, i'll be set sailing on board the Virgo again. I know i've been on cruises countless times and on a much higher frequency these days. ( i really should count my cabin cards to see how many times i've been on board) Reason being, my parents get cabins for free, they don't even have to fork out a cent, neither do they have to pay for the seaport tax. What a steal huh
And i kinda miss eating buffets for breakfast, teabreak, lunch, teabreak, dinner and supper.
And how can anyone not love the classy fine dining at Bella Vista.
By going on a cruise, i'm able to curb my weekend spendings. I've spent so much over the past 2 weeks. damn.
But whatever it is, i hope to bring back some cash from the casino.
I can't believe ppl pay $400+ for a weekend cruise, and they sleep in cabins that look like bunks, without any window! Muahaha. I'm so glad i have my balcony room!. Shiok.

xoxo

ps: i think i've got conjunctivitis!

great!

My dnd is this coming Sunday at stinking sweeeeze hotel where i had my college prom (eeyw!). And i haven't found anything to wear.

great.
I don't seem to care do i?

Prom/functions have lost its novelty. Not unless you're talking about a kickass royal gala sorta dinner. =)

But since my ticket had been paid for, and my presence on Sunday will at least give me something to talk about in my yearly appraisal, plus the free food and all (not that the food is any great). why not?

Oohh, and i hope i get to see this........

doctor.

ahaha

I had such a great time today. The ppl who went to sydney for the exchange organised a get to gather. A chalet sorta thing. It was excellent. The feeling was exactly the same, 1 year ago. We had our xmas bbq, nye celebration. Everyone was reminiscing about the good old days. And yes, they never fail to mention about me getting wasted on that one particular clubbing incident.
Right.
The sheer mortification.

Random stuff
patients/family of patients always assume that ppl who walk ard with white coats in the hospital are doctors!
Today, i went up to the OT for a frozen section, then i came out, with my specimens and stuff, and i had this man coming up to me saying,"do you have any idea if a Mdm Yeo has been operated". Right. I mean, if that hepatic bile duct i was holding belongs to a Mdm Yeo, then maybe i can politely tell him yes. But apparently it wasn't. And so they think i'm a surgeon.
HAHA.

The deception!
But hey lemme tell you, not all surgeons are smart. Surgeons do make mistake. Go watch Grey's Anatomy, then maybe you know what i'm talking about.

I seriously can't get enough of Grey's anatomy.
Next halloween, i'm scrubbing in! i'm gonna wear a scrub, disposable gowns and the cap. I have them all, except the scrubs.
Whoopeeedoo!
