Blisters & Shoes

My favourite pair of heels gave me blisters again when i was out with old time friend Weili.
I don't believe this. I've worn it for so many times, and i still get shitty boils on my heels.
You know there's this old granny's saying that the first time you buy your shoe, you should bite it to sorta 'season' it. Eeyew i say.

So, thanks to good old google, i've managed to find several solutions.

1. lubricate your shoes. They suggest petroleum jelly? (haha. dual purpose), but i say use lip balm
2. paste band aid over the blister (trust me, it will come off. shitty band aid), i suggest pasting band-aid on your shoes where u kenna that blister
3. soak your feet in teabags + water, so the skin gets tougher. what stupid crap is this?
4. Don't wear that pair of shoe. Simple as that.

So, in a bid to save my tiny toes, and blistering heel, i got myself a pair of havainas (although i already own one). Brown colour this time. Nothing fancy.

I'm getting really practical ain't i?

Now that we're on the topic of shoes, allow me to rant abit about this new and 'intricately designed' shoes, Crocs.
How many of you would buy them? I wouldn't. For one, it costs like 50 bucks for a pair. Tacky colours, shoes with many holes, feet confirm wet on rainy days. For another, the design couldn't get any worst. Thats ergonomics for you.

Let's say, your bf/gf bought you a pair of crocs for your bday. what do you do?

1. Wear them as bedroom slippers.
2. Lie to them, tell them u really like it, but your mom likes it even more, so you gave it to her.
3. Tell him/her you can't bear to wear them, so you're keeping it in your wardrobe.
4. Tell him/her straight into his/her face that they have extremely bad taste, they don't know your taste, following which, break up with them, and throw the pair of crocs into their face.

I'm just bullshitting.
But here's a fact: crocs provides the comfort my stinking heels couldn't. =(
